We cannot thank Clear blue Skies and especially Suzie enough for helping us from the start to the finish of the process of purchasing our beautiful property in Playa Paraíso, Adeje, Tenerife. We recently (September 2020) just finalised the purchase of our property and we are looking forward to creating many happy memories in the sun on the beautiful Island of Tenerife. After many years of thinking about buying a property in the sun, browsing property websites and looking at estate agent windows in Tenerife, we came across Clear Blue Skies office on the last evening of our holiday, last Christmas. The office was closed at the time as it was late but they had leaflets on the external office wall with their contact details on it and a clear explanation of the buying process in Tenerife, which we found very helpful in answering some questions we had at that time. We were impressed by this leaflet and decided to contact Clear Blue Skies via email when we returned to Ireland. Suzie scheduled a call with us and we were immediately impressed with her professionalism. She then got us started on the process of buying a property in the sun after informing her of our requirements in a property and our budget. We decided to return to Tenerife a few weeks later to meet Suzie and her team at Clear Blue Skies and begin the process of fulfilling our goal of buying our dream property in the south of Tenerife. On the first morning we met Suzie we were greeted warmly and treated to refreshments and then proceeded to search for properties. She managed to meet our requirements and within no time we discovered the property that we ended up purchasing. We were amazed by the amount of time and effort Suzie put in to help us find our property and she also helped set us up with a trustworthy English speaking lawyer. Even when some minor problems occurred she worked tirelessly to rectify them and was always available to answer our questions and update us on the process. Suzie also accompanied us to our lawyer and to the local bank which was of great help as we were unfamiliar with the Spanish legal and banking systems. Thanks to all the help and advice we received from Clear Blue Skies, especially during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to complete the purchasing process with ease and peace of mind. Jamie var andstæðan, hann hlustaði á okkur, var ekki ýtinn og svaraði glaður öllum áframhaldandi spurningum okkar. Þetta hefur verið traustvekjandi fyrir okkur að kaupa eign erlendis er stórt skref en líka mjög spennandi. Þú þarft að líða vel með teymið sem þú ert að vinna með og við þökkum einnig Alison og Suzie.

We received enormous support throughout and after the purchase process. They took note of our requirements and tried to show us relevant properties, thought our desires may sometimes have outstretched our pockets. Finally, we were shown something that we not have gone to see without local guidance and this proved to be just what we wanted. Even now, after 10 months, they are there for us to provide advice and guidance. I like to think of the whole team as friends that we can go to when the complications of living in a new country need experienced people that can point you in the right direction. They also recommended a lawyer who has been equally important as far as smoothing the purchase and helping us to sort out the next steps of gaining residency.
